This weekend's mission
This weekend's mission

Its looking like a somewhat cold, snowy weekend is shaping up here in Calgary.  I think I can get some serious reading done as a result.

I'm just about halfway through Varley's Demon.  This series is odd, but I like it.  I believe it will be easy to finish it this weekend.

With Beowulf, I am going to try something different (for me).  I have both the book and the audiobook from the library.  It is a translation by the Irish poet, Seamus Heaney.  I plan to let the poet read it to me and follow along in the text.  I've never used an audiobook before, so I'm looking forward to the experience.

Happy weekend reading, everyone!
