Favourite Book Read in June

Under The Visible Life - Kim Echlin

I won this book in a GoodReads giveaway and it took me a while to get it to the top of my reading pile, but boy am I glad I did.  I don't give out 5 stars easily, but I found this novel extremely moving and very, very well written.

The struggle to "make it" in the music business, dealing with gender and racial discrimination, all while trying to maintain families--the two women featured in this story are doggedly determined to do it all, and to live life as large as they can!

Very inspiring!
