I Love Lists!

I've been having way too much fun this week figuring out what I'll read next year.  Do you set goals for yourself?  I try to have a list of about 50 books that I plan to read and then allow about 50 spontaneous choices.

I'm currently working on The Hunchback of Notre Dame as well as The Female Man (a choice from my science fiction & fantasy reading project).

These are still waiting on this year's list:

  1. Masters of the Vortex / E.E. “Doc” Smith (SFF Reading project)
  2. The Silmarillion / J.R.R. Tolkien (SFF Reading project)
  3. The Bane of the Black Sword / Michael Moorcock (SFF Reading project)
  4. Dhalgren / Samuel R. Delany (SFF Reading project)
  5. The Bean Trees / Barbara Kingsolver (Book club for December)
  6. Boundless : tracing land and dream in a new Northwest Passage / Kathleen Winter (on hold at public library)
  7. Lock In / John Scalzi (on hold at public library)
  8. The Count of Monte Cristo (on hold at public library)
  9. A Christmas Carol / Charles Dickens (Christmas book for December)
  10. Mansfield Park / Jane Austen (signed out of University library)
  11. Robinson Crusoe / Daniel Dafoe (signed out of University library)
